A handful of times I've walked into moments where it felt like Heaven and Earth were about to join hands and all the world would skip a heartbeat so that one heartbeat would come and beat among us - last week held one of those days.
The "R" family walked into the sacred space of new life and held their little boy, giving him a world of love long awaited. I was honored to be there to capture those sweet moments of this family, as I have breathed the thought so many times I say it now - I hold these moments of bearing witness as an undeserved privilege.
Congratulations, sweet friends, on the new gift of new life you hold today.
