Spring Baby

The other day my husband and I decided to embark on the adventure of taking our own maternity photos. As neither him nor I have ever done anything like this before, it was a fun learning experience. From setting up our makeshift studio in our dining room to shooting and editing, I have greatly enjoyed this process. We used ideas that we had seen in other photographs, as well as making up a few of our own. Overall I'm pretty excited about the results, and I must give some major 'kudos' to my husband for putting up with me and all of my photographic wants! I hope you enjoy viewing them as much as we did creating them!

In Preparation for Professionalism

The camera cannot lie, neither can it tell the truth. Jonathan Greene
Above is a sampling of my work, some of which will appear in my professional portfolio. I have embarked upon the journey of choosing from some of my favorite photographs to print and log into my portfolio, a task I hope to have partially completed before my own little memory maker arrives. I say partially only because I hope for this to be a project that is in constant transition, that throughout the years I will continue to have the opportunity to capture more memories and occasions and add them to my portfolio. I can only hope to be pushed and taught more through each and every experience I am blessed to capture.
