Desert Glow
I am so thankful for this generational friendship. Nadia's folks and mine have been friends for years, which led to an eventual bond that blossomed in our adulthood between us, now our husbands, and eventually (Lord willing!) our children. I am so excited to see what the future holds for this growing family!

Books about: Fall!
Fall fieldtrips, painted pumpkins, cold air and warm clothes... and books about fall + edible harvesting!
In addition to a couple of books we already owned, we picked up a couple of books at the library about two different edible harvests, they sort of just felt fitting. Here are a handful of suggestions for fall reading with your little ones :)
Zoe's First Book of Seasons written by Heather Au
Clifford's First Autumn by Norman Bridwell
Apples by Gail Gibbons
and also Corn by Gail Gibbons
The latter two talk about the histories, types, harvesting and more of these edible varieties. Fun to look at and educational! Do you have any favorite fall crafts or books? I'd love to hear! Feel free to drop me a comment/link :-)
