Riley and Cortney

Yesterday David and I spent a lovely afternoon with these sweet newlyweds. Riley and Cortney were so easy to work with, laid back about everything, joyful to be around -- and eagerly anticipating their first meeting. Riley was a beaming groom the first time he set eyes on his stunning bride,we were so privilaged to watch their "sneak peek" of one another before the ceremony. Since the first time I met them as a couple it was evident how perfect for each other they are. Riley adores Cortney with every glance and word, and Cortney is head over heels for her prince charming. We wish this couple a long and lovely life together, never forgetting to look at each other just like they did on their wedding day. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. N!

 

 

Birthday for Blue Eyes

I had the honor of photographing this precious little boy with the sweetest baby blues last Friday. He was all smiles, and the shoot just breezed by. It was a lovely afternoon for a shoot, and a chat with his beautiful mama Cassy who has been one of my dear friends since high school. Callen is so in love with his mama, it was so sweet to see him respond to her love with a great big one year old hug. This radiant emotion was such a joy to capture, he definitely has himself curled up inside my beautiful friend's heart.

 

Peter and Tiffany

This afternoon we made photographing a couple of friends of ours a family event. Out on an adventure we went for this lovely pairs engagement shoot. Peter has been one of David's friends for a number of years, and a while back we had the honor of meeting his (gorgeous!) bride Tiffany. They are just so great together, and what I'm most excited about are the joining of these two hearts to follow Christ wherever He may lead. It's so beautiful to see how these guys strive to honor God in their day to day, and I know that through their service to one another and those around them they'll be richly blessed.

Little Miss

Little "Surling" as Christian calls her is turning the big ONE this week! I can't believe it's almost been a year since I got to hold the precious new baby daughter of one of my bests. I'm so excited to celebrate this birthday with them, and one good way of kicking off this celebration was a birthday shoot in beautiful weather. Isn't she a doll? Happy birthday little Miss Sterling Bug!
